If the last three months have taught me anything, it’s that I am a creature of habit. My morning commute and to-go iced coffees have been supplanted by runs through my neighborhood and coffee steeped in my French press. Every weekend, I make the same breakfast sandwich—English muffin, over-easy egg, bacon, and a slice of Kraft cheese—and take the same bike ride around Brooklyn, always ending up on the tip of the same pier in Red Hook. Every night ends the same way too: I put on a playlist and pour myself a glass of Calcarius Orange Puglia 2018, or as I like to call it, my quarantine wine.
